Amazing Race - Oh my Goth, talk about bad choices

I hate the editors half the time in reality shows, as they have this nasty way of playing with your emotions as they splice together each episode. I was routing non-stop for my faves, the Goths, for most of the fricking episode as they seemed to make up time after finishing last and being saddled with the imposing Speed Bump this time around.

Things started off okay.... it was nice to see the teams getting off to the next destination (this time they were off to Mumbai aka Bombay) and there was plenty of theatrics at the airport as teams tried different paths to get to India. The teams were pretty evened up, and the Goths even arrived first which seemed to give them a chance to make up time before having to do their extra challenge. Unfortunately things deteriorated quickly and before you know it, Team Goth has done their Speed Bump (yoga, which is harder than it looks and I was laughing at Kynt being all manly about how HOT Vyxsin looks stretching, they seem so platonic...) and have caught up to Nate & Jen. Our bitchy team promises a better performance and a kinder and gentler Nate & Jen and yet have not delivered. They have another meltdown finding the clue and are being the asses that they usually are.

Meanwhile the other teams have finished up their first challenge, where you have a choice of hanging posters or stringing flowers. TK & Rachel opt for flowers (Rachel works in a flower shop and can bang this out real quick and it sounds like the hippie kind of thing our hippies should do), while our Dad from Hell & Christina and Nick & Don decide to do the posters. Dad shows more of his true colors and berates Christina for his mistakes and then tries to take it out on the Judge.... which is probably the stupidest thing to do and once daughter dearest puts her foot down (a bit) they complete the task and are off to the Roadblock. Nick & Don have already finished and are just behind Tk & Rachel. The players have a choice here, they can U Turn a team, making them go back and do the other Challenge that they didn't do. All of the first teams decide not to, and are off while Team Goth does the flower challenge against Nate & Jen. Our bitchy team finishes just before, but ultimately Team Goth arrives at the U Turn Station.

And that boys and girls, is where it all hits the fans..... we hear Team Goth saying "Yes, they will use the U Turn" and then we cut to commercial.... and I am screaming like a 10 year old girl at a Hannah Montana concert and SO happy that Nate & Jen will get their dues finally and then the show comes back.... and my world goes dark as I hear the Goths say that they will use the U Turn on Nick & Don..??????? WTF???

And that is when I know it's pretty much over for the Goths.... what a fricking stupid mistake they made... they had a chance to delay the team right on their asses (well at least according to those Editors...) and they blew it. YUP just a stupid stupid stupid mistake... crap.

So anyways.... the Roadblock is deliver 6 tanks of propane to 2 addresses and get 2 receipts and you get the Golden Ticket.....blah blah blah.... TK & Rachel nab first place (and a new place in my heart for being so mellow), then Nick & Don finish second (although poor Nick almost kills himself with dehydration doing it), Dad & Christina finish 3rd and our final 2 teams are battling it out for that last spot.

It was a Comedy of Errors more than anything else, Jen forgets her receipts, Kynt makes errors with receipts and his bike and our bitchy couple make it in to the final four. The Goths take their final jump on the mat and dear old Phil says he will miss them, saying that they were certainly the most fashionable team to date. Fashionable? Well not fashionable (team Cha Cha has that one already under their Gucci belt) but certainly the most Goth and flamboyant as far as teams go... and damn cool people that I will miss seeing. I'll be rooting for those hippies to take the prize, they are the coolest out of our final four. Go TK & Rachel !

Amazing Race - The Leg from Hell

Thank god for non-Philimination rounds as I almost had kittens last night watching the latest episode of the Race, and yes, they were pink and black striped kittens as my favorite team flirted with destiny and almost got the boot. That's a bad thing.

Things started out okay.... the teams were leaving from beautiful Croatia and were off to Italy. The trip is partly done by Ferry and I laugh as Kynt and Vyxsin take the time to work on their makeup. God I love these 2, they have really their own agenda. There are some major traffic snarls and messages from home on a Blackberry (product placement anyone? do they at least get to keep them?) which seemed to be a first for me. I don't remember in previous editions anyone getting messages from home but that may be the eggnog talking... and we only got to hear half the team? It was kind of weird... anyways Tk and Rachel forget their clue and have to go back for it, and Kynt and Vyxsin seem completely lost and get kind of snippy with each other. It's a first for me as they are usually so supportative of each other but it never degrades to some of the nasty fights we have already seen this season with some of the other teams.

Anyways... we got to the Roadblock, a little tour in a glider to look for the next clue. Gramps and Nicolas decide to go for the Fast Forward (it appears that there is only one in this race) and are off to get tattoos before hitting the Pit Stop. No real drama there....

Nathan and Jennifer finish first ( Jen bitching the whole time that they should have taken the Fast Forward and that she would like to finish first for a change, so tiresome...), our dad from hell, Ronald is getting back to true form and there is some nice bitching with his daughter before they complete the task and are off to the next part in DaVinci. It's really cool that we get to see Leonardo Da Vinci's birthplace and is one of the reasons I love the Race so much. Tk and Rachel are having major problems finding the clue (Tk goes at least 4 times until he finally finds it), and all though they seemed to be hopelessly lost, Kynt and Vyxsin arrive and actually finish the Roadblock before Tk and Rachel. The teams are off and yes this continues being the leg from hell as almost anything that you can think can go wrong will.... and the games continue...

So in Mr. Da Vinci's home town, you have the choice of either Invention or Tradition. Invention looks hard piecing together a crane designed by our genius, so most of the teams opt for Tradition and get to go some Flag work. Nate and Jen make it through once our little control freak gets her mojo on and berates Nate into doing it right.... she reminds me of one of those "Bring it on" girls. Ronald and Christina finish also and we get treated to more of Ron's whining. I can't say enough how I don't want either of those 2 teams to win.

TK and Rachel decide to do the Invention as it is closer and do a good job figuring it out, and staying cool and collected. They are off to the finish as they get a flat tire, and the editing makes it so you are not sure who will finish next...Team Goth has more problems, and have to get a replacement vehicle. They manage to do the Flag Ceremony quick (I think they were the first team to get it on the first try) and our little Goth Energizer bunnies are off to the finish.... dead last and a warning from Phil that although they haven't been eliminated they will have to face the dreaded Speed Bump (a new twist) in the next leg of the Race. I have already started praying to all of my Dark Gods and hope they can Goth their way out of this one.

MADtv does Project Runway

Since there is no new MAD tv at the moment, and the current Project Runway won't be back until the New Year (what was that all about?), here is the best of both worlds in a classic sketch.

Crista Flanagan's version of Heidi is hilarious (catch the poses and the voice - OMG) and Michael McDonald kills as Tim Gunn ("gayer"). They have managed to catch the spirit of a Challenge in a short amount of time, and their Judges are pretty right on the money, from the Michael Kors to our resident bitch, Nina Garcia.

Enjoy!

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency

I could tell you all about the last episode, but suffice to say that Janice is completely out of control, there was some great model abuse and at least she has a sense of humor! Check out her "12 Days of Christmas", it's a new holiday classic in my home! You can probably figure out what part is the best, it has something to do with the number 5 ...

Happy Holidays!

Project Runway Canada - Finale and the winner is...

Last night was the big Finale for the first season of Project Runway Canada, and following the formula that is used in the US version, we have our 3 designers off at home working on their 10 piece collection for Fashion Week.

This being Canada, we have Marie Genevieve in Montréal working on her architecturally inspired collection, Lucian in Toronto doing some very interesting work with Crocheting and his gypsy influence, and the douche bag Biddell is now in Vancouver, " staying with some friends" and has taken the summer off to enjoy it. Of course this irks the hell out of me, especially seeing the other 2 working very hard on their collections and getting their act together for fashion week. I look at this as an indication that the douche is not going to do well, and still hold out hope for either MG or Lucian wins. To me it's really anyone BUT Biddell who should win as I really haven't liked his behaviour or attitude on the show and he just rubs me wrong. Anyways we get nice little montages about our designers and their origins and it's one of those fluffy feel good pieces of filler, and coincidentally has a lovely little cross section of Canada from east to west.. it's very politically correct as we Canadians are sometimes noted for.

Jump to our final 3 arriving in Toronto for the big event, and MG and Lucian are pretty much ready to go, they have prepped for everything including music and the order their collection will be presented in. Brian is happy with them and gushes over their work, gives some advice and then tries to deal with Biddell who has no idea what he is doing and isn't even finished yet. You think someone might have used the past 3 months to put a plan together or found out what needed to be done but it is his first show after all...

There is a meeting with our sponsors at Winners, who are giving the winner a Retailer Mentor ship to help them out with working in the fashion world. MG is cool towards the idea and would prefer to have someone do the business side for her, Biddell pipes in with a comment from the group that no of them are interested, but Lucian quickly contradicts him and chats about how he does a lot of the business side of his work and seems much more serious than the other 2.

We finally get down to the Runway show, and Lucian goes first and awes the crowd in a beautiful show. His models are fabulous and his work is stunning. First out of the gate and hard to follow I think..

MG follows and her collection is as eclectic as ever.... it doesn't do much for me but I can see her point of view and all the work she put into it. I don't think it's a winner and think that Lucian is going to win for sure.

Biddell comes out bellowing like he is at a Monster Truck Rally, and his models are edgy and put on a great show. His collection seems disjointed and I find it lacks the charm and detailing of Lucian's work so I am really hoping that our Transylvanian is going to win.

We finally get around to the final judgement with Iman, Rita and Shawn, and they start off by first congratulating all of the designers for a great show and for being there. Then we get into the nitty gritty and MG is told her collection wasn't cohesive enough... MG is eliminated and proudly strips her jacket off to reveal a "MG is Dead" t shirt that pretty much sums it up. She goes backstage to join the other fallen comrades and the deliberation is between Lucian and the douche.

Rita finds Biddell too undisciplined and not sure if he would be able to apply himself if he won. Shawn loves Biddell's work and doesn't care about things like that, and Iman is bored with Lucian and finds Biddell edgy. I am quietly vomiting in my throat as they decide to award the prize to Biddell because he can bring something new to fashion. I completely disagree and think that Lucian was robbed and it should be him getting the accolades. The Douche thinks he is king shit as usual and was even trying to intimidate Lucian in front of the judges. I can't believe that they chose this idiot instead of someone who worked their ass off for 3 months and have lost quite a bit of respect for Iman after this debacle.

I am just disappointed, and next season if they do a little update on what Biddell did with his winnings and how his Mentor ship went I can practically guarantee you that the douche will waste it all away and just be another casualty of the Fashion Industry. At least Lucian and MG will still be creating and will probably be more successful. Karma does have a way of catching up with you when you least expect it....

America's Most Smartest Model - VJ wins - what ever !

After all of the weeks of drama and freak outs, and watching Ben Stein and Mary Alice Stephenson test our models, things finally got down to the final episode and the final chance to prove how smart are models actually are..... or not...

I do have to give VJ props for working so damn hard on his presentation, and he did a great job and yes is a good spokes model. I still don't really like the guy, and don't think that he is the better model, but definitely proved himself to be the smarter one of the gang. He did use his smarts, and did very well for someone new to the industry, but it was pretty obvious that he is one of those pretty boys that knows how to sell himself. I won't try to imagine what kind of practicing he has done to get him to this level of whoring but am sure we all have a few ideas. The guy always felt like a snake oil salesman to me...

Andre is the better model but not the smartest in the way they were judging the contest (nor was he my top pick, but Brett got eliminated a few weeks ago), and as good as his idea was to get our friend Pickel (who can't seem to miss an episode for some reason or another) to come in and do his presentation, it just didn't have the same impact as someone whoring themselves. I don't think he had a real chance at winning (it was really the shock value of having our Soviet bad boy against the American boy), but can't help but wonder if he had kept his mouth shut if it would have helped. No worries, we will surely see Andre in all of his glory all over the place, and that's a good thing.
I can hardly wait until next season!

Survivor China - Todd Wins !

My pick (from day 1) proved to be the ultimate puppet master this season and I am very happy to say that Todd, our sneaky Mormon gay flight attendant won the China edition of Survivor and is now a million dollars richer. Congratulations Todd, you played a great game and even better truly understood the game.

The big finale had all the elements of the last round. The final reward challenge was narrowly won by Amanda (in all her pixelated glory) who decided to share her beer, pizza and brownies with Todd, going back to the very first day when the 2 decided to make an alliance and go all the way. There was lots of chat about getting rid of Todd again (an ongoing theme for the past several weeks) but as predicted, when push came to shove, it's better to take some one to the final vote with the jury that you think you can beat as opposed to someone who might beat you.

Before getting to the final Immunity Challenge, we had the usual " Walk of Shame" where all of the eliminated contestants are honored. It's not always the most thrilling part of the series but always fun to hear what kind of comments are said about those who have already left the game. The locales and visuals this year where just stunning, and I really loved the giant statue of Chinese good fortune.

At the Immunity Challenge, things were a tad bit different this year. It's usually some kind of endurance challenge of some sort, and this year is was endurance and balancing dishes. Todd was out first, followed by Courtney and ultimately won by Amanda who refused to swing a deal with Denise. I think that Denise should have known at this time that she wasn't going to be in the final 3. Courtney got in one of her bitchiest comments before the last Tribal Council, saying that it wasn't like welfare and that it's too bad if your life sucks..... I have to give the girl props for that and she had me in shock and awe and snickering every so much.

No surprise, Denise is eliminated as she was a huge threat if she went to the final 3. Much easier to vote for our Lunch Lady than any of the other survivors and they were smart to get rid of her. Then it's time for our Q&A with the jury and after a barrage of questions, Todd has explained himself well and his game tactics and it's very clear that yes, he has been a puppet master from the very beginning. I have been saying it for weeks and although the vote is close, Todd ultimately wins. Amanda only gets one vote and Courtney gets two and Denise is still fuming.

The Reunion show was great, Jeff tried to get lots of dirt on what is happening with the players. Poor Denise is still having a rough time, and after the public vote gives James $100,000, Mark Burnett feels guilty and gives Denise $50,000 which is generous if not a bit manipulated. Jeff putting Erik on the spot to find out if he was still a virgin was a bit over the top, but the icing on the cake was pointing out that Jean-Robert was completely out played by Todd, who manipulated him to the very end and left with the big prize. That was a great season of Survivor, and now I can hardly wait for the next one, Fans vs Fan Favorites. Here's hoping we get to see more Ozzie and Yau Man !

Kid Nation - The End

I finally got around to seeing the last episode of the series, and while I found it interesting the first few episodes, it dragged out as the series continued. I did watch all of it to see how it played out, but found it lost it's oomph after awhile.

Anyways... it was the finale this week, and we had a bit of looting once the kids were set loose, a weird challenge to clean everything up and then a final Town Hall, with all the parents there and awarding 3 final Gold Stars worth $50,000 each.

From what I saw in the series, I didn't see kids really making a new society. In general, I found it too centered on conflict, less on solutions and didn't see that many opportunities to really see the kids in action. It was more about their boredom and conflict between factions than anything else and I was disappointed with the general outcome of all of it. If this is the example of the future, I wasn't too impressed and except for a handful of the kids that we got to see (usually the same dozen) we didn't see some of the kids at all unless they were up for Gold Star.

The final Council, and awarding the big prizes to the 3 most *ahem* "mature" girls left a bad taste in my mouth, it seemed to be much too much teenage boys deciding with their hormones on who won (yeah all the chicks with boobs) when there were clearly other kids who had worked hard the whole time ( I think of poor Mike who got nothing for his efforts) who where clearly more deserving. We get Morgan and Migle who were who exactly? Sophia definitely deserved her prize, and was one of the few kids that I thought was interesting. They might want to make it a vote by all the kids next time as to who made Bonanza a better place if they repeat this experiment. Pretty big if.....

It was interesting to see the parents... but would have loved to have seen more of them as I was really wondering if Taylor's mom was a real number like her.... maybe next time, but I am not holding my breath waiting for another series.

A Very Special Supernatural Christmas

You know it's going to be a good episode when they go through all the effort to do a special intro to the show. I loved the old 1970's style " Special Presentation" at the beginning. This show has the best dark sense of humor.

The balance between flashbacks to Christmas past ( and the great child actors who played the boys, they really got the feeling of the characters), the current crisis with the mysterious holiday themed deaths and the impending doom of Dean (it's to be his last Christmas) was all very well handled and the story was very balanced.

The whole concept of the Anti-Claus was a great first theory, the visuals of the bad Santa arriving with his bloody bag, taking victims up the chimney and the whole thumping on the roof routine was great, and creepy as hell. Much better than any of the so called Christmas slasher movies. Finding out that it is really pagan gods who are responsible, and that they live as this terribly sweet and Cleaveresque family was too much. The whole concept was hilarious, and as gruesome the torture scene was, Dean spouting his profanity and being reprimanded and then spouting out his Fudge rant was too much... I love these guys and their witty sense of humor, and love them even more when they play the gay couple. Sam going on about the "yummy" wreath that they were looking for was too much, but it's Dean's expressions that have me in hysterics.

Of course all's well that ends well, and the Winchester boys manage to get out of their holiday nightmare, dispatching the pagans with a Christmas tree (too ironic) before settling down to a holiday together, complete with the best gifts that you can find at the local Gas Station and bittersweet memories of holidays past, and of course the hope that there will be another one next year.

Smallville - Gemini

It's been a few weeks since our last episode, and last we saw Clark was in the Fortress of Solitude getting chided by Jor-el and Kara had amnesia in good old Detroit.
It seems like a bit of time has gone by, and the gang is wondering where Clark is, Chloe is covering for him and it's the Holiday season.
Lois is supposed to be doing her big expose on Lex and is still secretly banging boots with our impossibly young editor, Lex's *gasp* dead brother Julian. Long story short, Lois gets an ultimatum from a mysterious stranger who breathes hard on the phone and has hidden a bomb on dear cousin Chloe. Oh joy, yet another reason to frack with Chloe (it's getting a little out of hand Smallville writers, give the girl a break). Said stranger wants to blow the whistle on Lex's Gemini experiment which has ruined his life, and he is willing to go to any means possible to take down Lex.
Clark reappears on the farm and we are treated to more angst with Lana. Clark seems a bit aloof and cold, and he has says he needs to know everything that Lana knows about Lex so they can end this once and for all. There is a whole bunch of stuff about what Lana has on Lex at the Isis Institute, so our intrepid duo are getting info about Brainiac and stuff. It's hard to follow the storyline with having such a big break and it doesn't look like it's getting any better.
Chloe gets trapped in the elevator at the Daily Planet with Jimmy and the bomb. Of course the icing on the cake is that the bomb is in her Secret Santa gift, so I applaud the writers for kicking her even harder when she is down. For some reason cellphones don't work in the building (strange for a major metropolitan newspaper me thinks) but she manages to get a message off to Clark. There is some drama with Lois being forced to get a confession from Lex, and we learn that Julian is a clone. Seems like Lex is trying to create his own family and explains at least why the impossibly young editor is where he is.
Clark and Lana show up looking for Chloe and there is a bomb about to explode in the elevator, but Chloe has a last minute with Jimmy, and thinking that they are about to die reveals that she is a meteor freak and then they kiss *gasp*. Of course Clark saves the day. After all is said and done, Lex is the new owner of the Daily Planet, his clone brother is gone (and finished with Lois), Chloe shows her power to Jimmy (healing) and at the very end we see that Clark is still trapped in the Fortress and it is Bizarro with Lana. Merry Christmas to all.... yeesh. Let's see them dig their way out of this one...

Survivor China - The Final 4

The editors had me going again last night with the latest episode of Survivor. Lots of talk about getting rid of Todd, and the all important final regular episode before we get down to the big finale on Sunday.

The reward challenge was really cool, and our Lunch Lady Denise took Courtney and Todd with her to see the Great Wall and have a nice overnight stay. The visuals were stunning, and there was some interesting time back at camp where PG was working on Amanda like a demon. There was lots of talk about how dangerous Todd is .. and how many people don't like him.

The little puppet master was hard at work last night, and after losing out early in the Immunity Challenge (and a small panic attack for me), he pulled out an Ace at council, and reminded the other players about how important it is to have someone you think you can beat in the final 2. After all, who wants a so called great player who might take it away from you? Well played once again as PG is ousted, and leaving Todd with a huge grin on his face. He isn't making friends... and I hope to see him at the end and winning, after all I don't think anyone else has played as well as he has. We'll have to see what the jury thinks of how he played.

Project Runway- The Jenny Craig Challenge

This week our designers worked with another set of models, and this time they were all ladies who had lost a lot of weight. The Challenge was to create new clothes for their bodies using some of their old clothing. Mercifully, the designers are appointed their clients to offset that awkward school yard pick as we don't want to make anyone be chosen last.

We are on our merry way in this episode when it is revealed that Jack has a nasty staph infection... and due to his ongoing health issues (living with HIV for 17 years) he needs to leave and take care of it. It's saddening news and a real shame as Jack is a talented designer, and it looks that he can't continue in the competition and get treatment at the same time. I hope he tries to come back next season as he was one of my favorites. Tim brings Chris back to even the playing field, and he ends up working all night to catch up with the other designers.

The majority of the designers are doing okay with the challenge except for Steven. He has a wedding dress (miles of polyester chiffon and beading) and doesn't want to work with it. He opts to use it as trim and makes a black dress. Elisa is still being all layered and organic and Tim keeps telling her to neaten things up. We get a funny moment when Tim reminisces about making bad decisions at 3 AM which sets all the boys off, with Tim getting all embarrassed and saying that his mind didn't even go there. Too funny.

After the usual drama, and Steven scrambling to finish something we get the runway walked by our lovely ladies and a few of them really worked it. I love seeing regular people play model on the show and when the designers have to design for real people instead of walking coat hangers.

Jillian uses new material instead of recycling and passes through easily. I was surprised and expected Nina to rip her a new one but no such luck. Ricky tears up at least twice in the episode and thankfully the crybaby is safe, I was not emotionally prepared for dealing with him having another meltdown this week after losing Jack. The majority of designs are pretty much forgettable but Kevin does a kick ass ensemble for his lady. Our rooster boy Christian wins this week with his smart outfit and Steven is sent home for taking a wedding dress and turning into a maid's outfit. That's just not smart fashion.

Pushing Daisies - Corpsicle

There is so much to take in during an episode of this show it is unbelievable.

I was in complete awe of the scripting and visuals last night, and the ending... wow....

Our holiday episode, complete with snow, snowmen, Grinch references and no less than 3 corpsicles was way over the top.

We even had the return of Oscar, weird stuff with hair, The Wish-a-Wish Wish Granters, some psychedelic time with the Aunts including some very animated Crab dip and the appearance of Grant Shaud (Miles from Murphy Brown).

You can't get much better than this.

The main gist of the story is Ned and Chuck and the repercussions of Ned telling Chuck that he is responsible for the death of her father. Chuck leaves, and ends up hiding out at Olive's place. Olive's apartment is so matchy-match that it boggles the imagination. I almost screamed when I saw the pillow on her bed that says " Horse lovers are stable people", whoever does the set decorating on this show deserves an Emmy.

Emerson has a new case, an Insurance Adjuster has turned up as a Corpsicle... and to make a long story short they discover 2 more corpsicles hidden in snowmen and they have all been whacked with a baseball bat, curiously they have all rejected claims to help the boy with no heart.

Chuck meets with Oscar, who smells something different and is trying to get the truth from her. The visual of the Bee Hive Cosies was phenomenal as well, and Oscar's rant about hair was very disturbing... his character is very strange yet I got one of those Pee Wee moments from him anyways, I love Paul Reubens.

The writing and banter is as witty as usual, and when Emerson went on his vomit rant I was in glee. Finding out the Emerson has a child was a surprise and I need to know more. I know this episode was tweaked due to the strike but it still had it's magical touch. Discovering the killer, our demented Wish-a-Wish Wish Granter and her demise by Bobo the Bonobo Monkey and subsequent heart donation was the perfect holiday ending. Who knows, maybe the boy with no heart's new heart will make him less scrooge like.

Chuck and Ned manage to make some amends and although he can't console her, he is there for her and it's another beautiful heartbreaking scene. You can feel his pain in those big puppy dog eyes.

Olive went back to see the Aunts... and at Chuck's behest baked a special pie that she overdosed with Mood Enhancers from the herbal crack den. The trip they sent Aunt Lily on was very psychedelic... and her revealing that she is Chuck's mother at the end opened up a whole other can of worms and has certainly changed things... now WHEN we will know is another question.

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency - Same O Same O

Where are the hot boys? Hello? This episode was so much a rehash of last episode AND last season that I was completely bored. Surely Janice knows that most of us tune in for the eye candy and it was sorely lacking in episode 2.

I like to think of Janice as the wicked evil stepmother who has all these pretty models to emotionally torture, and it was way heavy on the torture and felt too staged and over the top even for Janice.

So a quick recap: Janice plays all concerned for her new Latina models and becomes * the celebrity * for the magazine cover shoot. No one else can touch her models but her as they are her property. Yikes. Another model leaves for greener pastures (bye bye Stina you were fierce!), there is another cattle call, and we get life lessons for Janice about staying in school. New models are hired, Kehoe's "room mate" Grant tries to pull a fast one on Janice but ultimately gets hired.( I don't see him listed as a model on the website though..) I guess being a cross between Boy George & Posh Spice helped that one out. One of the new girls has mysterious scars and bruises and our den mother plays all concerned. We hardly get to see much of the new models as this is breezed over too quickly.

Somehow Janice manages to walk that fine line between insanity and obsession and we get almost all the gang together for an audition for Fashion LA magazine. Curiously her new Latin division is not included in this and the new kids aren't too happy. Janice goes ballistic on a few models, and calling your models scarred and maimed before the client is always a good thing. Desiree gets special attention for being orange and having rug burn on her chin. In a shocking turn of events we discover the poor girl is anemic (what a surprise -- a model with a nutrition problem) and I wonder if Janice feels any guilt or real concern for this. 3 of the veteran models get chosen.

Traci is called fat in every way you can think of (all the sausage analogies were way bitchy) and gets poked and pinched by Janice in a most disturbing way before Janice takes off her size 4 skirt and dares the poor girl to put it on.

Such a cliffhanger.... will Traci be able to do this? Will she diet and exercise to be a walking coat hanger? Will she strangle Janice with the skirt?

I don't care... but those boys in underwear better be back next week .. isn't it time for boot camp?

Project Runway Canada - Dressing a Goddess

Last night was our last regular challenge for the final 4 ... and the designers find out from Brian that they get to design an outfit for Iman to wear to Fashion Week.

This is a huge thing of course, as Iman will be choosing the winner and they have a guaranteed spot in the final 3. Stephen is in complete awe of the challenge, and is pretty much overwhelmed with having his one on one with Iman and getting her input for what she likes and doesn't like.

Biddell asks some strange questions like " How many times have your parachuted?" and " Chocolate or vanilla?." Apparently there is a method to his madness we find out later.
There is a ton of drama at the fabric store in which Biddell once more demonstrates why I hate him so much. He grabs Lucian's fabric and threatens to buy it, once more playing the bully and trying to get a reaction out of Lucian. Brian just looks on and doesn't do anything and that makes me think that he is condoning bad behaviour and that is just out of place.... someone needs to whack the douche across the head with something very hard but he would probably like that.
The challenge goes okay... the designers have all taken different
directions with their work and Marie Genevieve has decided to go with the 'Little Black Dress' concept. Her dress gets tweaked but it is only okay and not her best work. It's still enough to keep her in the competition so I am really looking forward to seeing her do a whole line and show her style.
Stephen has a nice concept but it is poorly executed and he is eliminated and won't be at Fashion Week. He was probably the funnest contestant and I'll miss him and happy that he went as far as he did never having won a competition.
Biddell does a nice dress and I am actually impressed with his basket weave work even if I think he is a douche. Justice is served however, as Lucian wins the competition and his fabulous dress will be worn by Iman. I am glad he is there for the end and hope that either he or MG win ... after all Biddell is kept there for the shock value and I don't think he can or should win,but like Iman says, " Sometimes fashion isn't pretty" and I have to agree. Sometimes it's fat and bitchy too.

Amazing Race - A Bugs Bunny Moment

In a move that reminded me of Bugs Bunny (" I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque") our dynamic brother and sister team of Azaria & Hendekea not only lost their place in line, but booked the wrong tickets and that ultimately led to their demise.

I love an episode where the air travel is all over the place... the teams were scattered far and wide all over east Europe in an attempt to get to Croatia (beautiful place) and continue on with the Race.

I was more than shocked that our semi-functional father and daughter team of Ronald and Christina won this leg of the race... but they made good time and I have to congratulate them for that even if I still want Daddy to get another hernia. I can't bear to watch Nate and Jen much longer.... and hope they are out soon before things get even messier. Such drama.... and do none of these people know how to row a boat? I was in awe watching them struggle through the challenge and then laughing as they had to repeat the last part and finally arrive in 3rd place. Yes it was the cherry on the already melting sundae....

My faves, Team Goth came in second (yippee!) and did a great job. I love how supportive they are too each other and hope they go far. Gramps and Nick managed to catch up enough to avoid elimination and will probably be the next to go. Last episode it was Nick who was slowpoke on the Roadblock and this time it was Gramps.... not much hope there.

TK and Rachel are still doing well, and should be around for awhile. We still haven't had a non elimination leg of the Race and are due for one... damn that probably means that Nate and Jen will be around for at least 2 more weeks.... sigh......

America’s Most Smartest Model - Never trust a Rottweiler

Here we are, down to the final 3.... and Andre, Angela and VJ are sent off to Palm Springs for some down time with Mary Alice before a rock & roll photo shoot the next day.

Andre is still killing me every time he is on screen, not just because he is Russian (he says it at least 100 times per episode) but because he is an arrogant model who knows what he is doing... and from the quality of his photos YES he sure as hell knows what he is doing. No surprise that he wins the Edge challenge and has the snazzy new telephone to help him out with the final challenge.

Angela just tanked tonight and it is no surprise that she was purged. Seriously girl, stop playing air band and do some modeling as the judges were not impressed with your attempt at being a rock god. I am not surprised in the least that we are having the great USA/Soviet showdown for the finale... seems to me that they have been building up to this all season.

VJ was being his typical dickhead as usual. The competition is America's most smartest model, not the most sneakiest, and his attempts to derail Andre by stealing his models and then his poses was not lost on Mary Alice. VJ may be pretty to look at, but he doesn't have the range or sheer ability of Andre and it shows with his sad photo shoot. Andre oozes confidence and hot sex in his photos, VJ tries hard but misses the point most of the time.

I loved Andre going over the wall of contestants and saying how he took each of them down... and how he knows he has already won so just give him the money and let him get back to work. With the final challenge being the PowerPoint challenge Andre may be at a disadvantage due to his language barrier... but it appears he has a secret weapon that he can contact via his phone and I can hardly wait to see how the presentations turn out.... my bet is that Andre will win this and rub it hard into VJ's face... and can hardly wait to see that...

Stargate Atlantis - Weir's Swan Song

Last night's episode had that feeling and chemistry that has been missing from the series for the past several episodes. Why may you ask? Well simply because Dr.Weir was back, and hopefully this is not the last appearance of this character.

Changing things up this year hasn't really worked for me. I love Samantha Carter, but she was another no show in this episode, and the interaction between the characters seems so much more familiar and fun with most of the gang back together. Granted they were all Replicants... but it was the chemistry that I like.

The ending of the episode left quite a bit to be desired... the Replicants are taking out the humans all over the galaxy and it appears our merry band of Replicant SG Atlanteans have sacrificed themselves to get valuable intel to the regular SG Atlanteans.

There is a petition on line at :
Save Dr. Elizabeth Weir

If you are a fan of Dr. Weir and want to see her back on a regular basis there is nothing to lose but a minute of your time to sign the petition. Let's bring her back.... please.

Survivor China - Oscar Winning Performance

After all of the drama of last week and James being finally ousted, the remaining contestants are all on edge. Anyone can be voted out at this point and it's hard to know who is friend or foe.

PG and Erik are still low on the totem pole and know that they need to perform and hopefully win immunity to continue on. The alliance against them seems strong yet they are both hoping to find some crack to exploit.

The reward challenge comes along, and all of our remaining contestants are paired up with a family member to navigate and obstacle maze blindfolded. The special guests should be grateful it wasn't one of those gross food challenges that they have done i the past. At our reunion sequence Todd meets up with his sister, and gets some bad news that his other sister had a miscarriage. This sets of alarm bells with several of the other players as they think it's another ploy for sympathy a la Johnny Fairplay (the ass that said his grandmother died).

The challenge is won by Denise and her husband, and they get to go off on a yacht for a nice meal and some quality time. Denise can choose 2 others to join her, so she takes Todd and Amanda.

PG is completely miffed by all this as she had taken Denise off to the great Temple reward and feels she deserves it. No one really cares what PG thinks, as the other players are real sick of her and want her out as soon as possible. Erik thinks Todd's news is fake, and Courtney does a great mocking imitation of Todd getting the news and describes it as an Oscar Winning performance. The editors are having lots of fun this week putting the spotlight on Todd and I am suddenly concerned that my favorite puppet master will be snuffed out.

The winners gorge on food and have a complete freak out over a chocolate cake, and when they return to camp they even come back with cake all over their hands to share with the other players.... leading to some very unsettling images of cake icing being licked off of hands that you don't know where they have been.... yup this is Survivor at it's finest.

At the Immunity Challenge, our players have to navigate another course through mud and water, attached to a rope which makes them go up, over and under several obstacles where they have to choose a key, go back, open a box and then continue the process until they have 3 locks open. That's a lot of back and forth, and this challenge takes a lot of endurance. If you make a wrong choice you have to go back and try again and the challenge is quickly being led by Todd and PG. Todd makes a wrong choice and PG wins Immunity, much to the chagrin of everyone around her. She is even more insufferable than before.

I am getting even more worried at this point, the editors have been going back and forth with people talking about taking out Todd and Denise is now suddenly a swing vote, being tempted with the idea of being in the final 3 instead of the final 4 and I am really hoping that my favorite player ( I have stated this from day 1) is still going to be in the game.

Finally at Tribal Council Erik is eliminated, leaving Todd the last guy standing and here's hoping the little puppet master makes it to the finale.

Project Runway - Bad Fashion Trends Redux

I can't say this was one of the better episodes of Runway. The Challenge wasn't that interesting, as was splitting the designers into groups of 3 ... I just found it so dull... probably because the team that was having the most fun (and has my favorite designers) was not shown alot... and that is probably because they weren't in crisis mode like some of the other teams.

We have 4 teams of 3, and the teams have to resurrect lovely old fashion trends such as shoulder pads, neon, cut outs... blah blah blah. The episode is more about the drama between certain team members and their lack of vision and cohesion. Ricky is on one of the challenged teams (surprise), but manages to have some nice moments with Elisa and gets all on her wavelength. He understands her touchy feelly mentality and can communicate in ways that she understands and helps keep her center. It's a very esoteric good time.

Thankfully Ricky doesn't cry this evening so there is atleast that, but my faves are not really seen and in the end it's Chris that gets aufed.

I think we all know why these fashion trends are no longer trends....

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency - La Vida Janice

Janice is back for her third season in all of her silicon and botox glory and it is WAY up there on the list of my guilty pleasures...

Janice starts out the episode with a big photo shoot (of herself naturally), showing the world again that she is the world's FIRST working supermodel and she is as fierce as ever... just seems that there is a bit of a filter over everything but I digress ...

Things are as chaotic as ever at her Agency... we get a quick recap of what happened last season and then bang, Janice has new clients (VIP Latino) but curiously no Latino models. Janice makes the most fascinating facial expressions while chatting with her new clients, and then promises to have some models for them in 48 hours, which means, joy of joy, another casting call!

This kind of reminds me of last year, but I don't care because it was a real hoot last year and there was so much to look at I had one of those sensory overload things.

There are a couple of more reasons to watch this show, and if you watched last season you got to see the whole underwear fiasco and our 2 hotties (Dominic and JP) who are modeling for 2(x)ist underwear. Dominic gets offered a full year contract to be the "face" of the company. At the next photo shoot it is such drama when they have to deal with his hairy arms and broken toenail. It's all more than anyone should have to deal with and I am free to help anytime.

Meanwhile back at the Agency, Janice has decided that she needs a bodyguard (probably from being SUCH a nice person... or bi polar) and she gets one of her on again off again models, Sorin, this Romanian metro sexual gorgeous guy (and way stoopid) to take care of her. She completely gays him out with a terrible cut off Security t shirt and the poor guy doesn't even know what to do. At least (to Janice) he looks good and that is what is important.

We have more drama with a model leaving the Agency, partly to blame due to her partner who no one can seem to trust, and then the cattle call starts and it's time to check out the new models. Janice has now decided to add a Latino division to her Agency and needs lots of pretty boys and girls to mold into super models. The language barrier seems to be the biggest problem, which has Janice sputtering out Spanglish left and right. I don't know how she can enunciate anything with lips like those...

After the initial culling of the herd, she gets all her call backs to do some pretty hot nude shots in pairs, and Janice loves the Latin heat. The funny thing is that most of the models are Latin mixes, but you have to admire Janice, she knows beauty when she sees it. She finds one model, CC to be *gasp* just like her, and now has a new protege. Some of the models do some great shots, and Janice is confident to meet with VIP Latino and get them some talent.

After the big meeting, 3 models are chosen and the day of the shoot it appears that they are no longer the cover item.... I can hardly wait to see Janice explode next episode !

Project Runway Canada - Resort Wear Galore

Our final five are off to southern California for a much needed break and inspiration for their next challenge, and this week it's all about Resort Wear.

As an added bonus, big gay Nick from Project Runway season 2 is there, playing mentor, tour guide and all around fun guy that he is. Nick was one of my faves from the original series and it's like having an old friend home again.

So after enjoying some Spa and dinner, our gang find out that the *gasp* twist this time (it looks like they have figured out that there is always a twist with these challenges) is that they have to make an outfit for their model and themselves .. and they both have to do the runway. It's another one of those challenges that can make or break a designer as they need to make a cohesive look and be able to sell it.

After the ritual fabric pilgrimage, the gang get down to work. Biddell has chosen some quite hideous fabric which Nick calls “an aquarium on crack.” This is another reason that I love Nick, he is SO gay and SO funny. I prefer having him around instead of the regular Brian guy... he looks too 70's porn star with that mustache.

The gang get to work and pump out different stuff, Lucian is having a rough time with what Nick calls Elton John inspired work. His outfit is so yawn, and the dress is just too much, and not his usual Bohemian self. I am worried at this point as I usually love Lucian and is in my top 2, but this week our gypsy boy is just not working it... hopefully he will find his mojo and get back on track.

Biddell is making a monstrous hoodie thing with loud loud shorts and a god awful t shirt. I smile and hope that he will get the boot this week and we can get his fat ass off the show. Nick is close to having a stroke looking at this stuff and the douche is all proud of doing what he wants to do. While I can admire that I don't think that you could get into most Resorts with his pimped out ensemble.

Stephen is making lovely and reserved Safari wear, his stuff looks nice but he has me in hysterics when he throws on some pumps and does a fierce catwalk. Stephen is probably the funniest one there and certainly lightens the mood.

Shernett makes some way too complicated resort wear (although I did like her dress and thought the detailing was nice) but the rest of it makes you tired just looking at it. It's a close call but she gets cut and is told that she just doesn’t measure up. Brrrrrr it's getting cold in here again..

Of course this means my fave Marie Genevieve wins yet again this week with her 2 lovely ensembles. She looked great on the Runway as ell and you can't blame a guy for wanting the home town girl to win can ya?

Heroes - Powerless

In what has been advertised as the finale, Heroes lost 2 of their own (it seems) and finished up the Generations storyline.

well......

For me their was some things that I liked with the episode, and things that I didn't like...

I am not happy with the apparent demise of Niki. Her character is so multifaceted that I was looking forward to seeing her at her potential, some amalgamation of her personalities. Kinda cruel to make Micah an orphan.. and stick him with his useless cousin that can't mimic her way out of a paper bag. I thought the character had potential at the beginning but she has turned real wimpy real quick.

Suresh gets forced by Sylar to try to save him and in the chaos kills Maya and then forces the doctor to save her.... is this one of the deaths from this episode or does it not count? At least she finally knows the Sylar is big bad evil and he killed her brother but still not sold on the character.

I still love the storyline with Elle and how the character is developing. She is probably the most interesting new character on the series, and I loved her efforts to try to impress Daddy.

HRG returning home to save his family from the Company. He is still the most complex character on the show and I can not stop watching in fascination each time he is on the screen.

Adam is a master manipulator and got some great screen time before Hiro popped him into a coffin six feet under.... pretty sure he can get his way out of that one eventually.

Hiro was great last night and did well against Peter.... but seemed to miss the point with why Adam was at Primatech.... his solution for Adam was very creative, and I'd like to know how he did that. I keep waiting to see more of the future Ninja Hiro with the long hair... is he on that road or not?

Peter was a bit of a dolt (again), and it was up to his brother to open his eyes and save his ass again.... a bit too much like last year, but I thought Matt was great and nice to see him more in action. When Peter destroyed the virus there seemed to be a it more to it and I wonder what all that meant or if it means anything at all. Interesting none the less...

The assassination of Nathan at the end was predictable and made me question why do the same characters keep getting killed off? Does the blood transfusion from Adam help or is he really dead? I will say that his mother's reaction was priceless.... that woman is cold hearted.

Sylar was bad ass last night -- and managed to get his powers back for the next storyline. Will he finally finish the Wonder twins off for good? Will we get any new Heroes?

Chuck VS the Crown Vic

Last night's episode was a great finish to this part of the season.... and hopefully we get more in 2008 as things just got even more interesting.
I loved the development with Casey's character in this episode, and his love for his car, the 1985 Crown Victoria had me in hysterics. It was great to see another side of this character, and Chuck's ability to decipher his grunts ("I know that grunt. Yeah, that's the number 7, right -- skeptical with a side of cynicism?" ) made me start thinking that our boys are starting to bond... time will tell on that one.
There is a ton of tension between Chuck and Sarah since Bryce blew through town on the last episode, Sarah wants to do her job and is trying to get back to the grindstone while still wanting some semblance of a normal life. In a strange, passive aggressive kind of way she does pretty much anything to turn Chuck away from her... but you can still tell that there are some real feelings for our nerd in there. Her annihilation of her alarm clock was too funny.
The gang at the Buy More is getting all set for their annual Holiday Party, and each episode makes me love Jeff even more. The guy doesn't have many lines, but each of them is a scene stealer and he is so much less annoying than Lester. The whole Eggnog thing and his request of a doggy bag of lobster was too much... we need more Jeff !
The story line with the counterfeiters, Chuck playing James Bond, the interesting tie in with Morgan and Anna (and her parent's visiting) being at the wrong place at the wrong time all worked well. Morgan was such a disaster I was laughing my ass off watching him freak out Anna's parents. I loved the hommage to Titanic, giant shrimp and Chuck having a rocket shoot through his legs. The ultimate sacrifice of Casey's car was the topping on the sundae... not the best special effects but pretty hilarious.
The ending of the show was astounding.... Intersect 2.0 is almost on line and soon there will be no need for Chuck... and it looks like Casey will have to take him out. Is there hope?

America's Most Smartest Model - Final Five

After losing Pickle last week our models are down to the final five, and have to choose teams for the next challenge. Andre & Rachel decide to work together, VJ & Angela team up and that leaves Brett to be alone... he's still upset that his BFF is gone but we know that Pickle is not far from his heart....

Going to the brains part of the Edge Challenge, our teams have to construct a Go Kart and then the 2 teams that finish first get to race for the Edge. Carter Oosterhouse shows up to stand there and look pretty.... and surprise it's team Import vs team America. Brett can't handle the challenge being all alone, even though Pickle pops up in some weird Yoga kind of a way. I feel your pain Brett. Angela is the queen of everything it seems and has mechanic experience so their team finishes quickly.

Our team of sassy Imports manages to win the race, VJ is pissed and Angela practically cries. Andre & Rachel have the Edge and get all the info for being a Spokes model for the sassy 2007 Jaguar XK-R. VJ calls a friend to get info on the car so he can be prepared as well. Brett pouts and misses his BFF and looks dead behind his eyes. The models get to nominate who they think should be eliminated and VJ gets the nod from the Alliance. If he doesn't win the challenge he might be purged.

The next day is the challenge, and the models go up one at a time to present and sell the car to an eager public. The models are freaked as they weren't expecting an audience, and horror of horrors, the car is on a giant turntable that spins.... just like in every car show that you see everywhere.

Rachel chokes and doesn't know what to do when things start moving, Brett is dead man spinning and even manages to lay an F bomb on the crowd, Andre is so not a spokes model and does just as bad. The worst thing is that Andre and Rachel had all the information ahead of time so have no excuse for not being prepared. VJ does a great job, and in an interesting move gets off of the turntable to do his presentation while the car spins. Angela does an even better job and actually stays with the car and sells it like no tomorrow. She can do anything.

I am still surprised that the Judges decided to have a tie for first place, and VJ and Angela are in to the next round. We have 3 models on the chopping block and first Rachel is eliminated, then we are told there is still another that has to go as there is only room for 3 in the final challenge and Brett is cut also. I am sure he is off to be consoled by his BFF Pickle. I am convinced Andre is kept only because he is such a prick and adds that needed tension to the show, besides what is better than having VJ and Andre butt heads and get all up in each other's face. Next week the final 3 are off to another photo shoot and it looks like some tiny tiny swimwear is involved... definitely highbrow enough for me!

Desperate Housewives - Something's coming & it's a Twister!

In what may be the season finale (damn strike) it all hit the fan on Wisteria Lane last night.... kinda funny that they had a tornado the same time Sci Fi was "re-imagining" the Wizard of Oz with Tin Man ... that's a lot of tornado in one evening.
I loved the episode, and thought it was a great cliffhanger and way to end the fall season... only it better not be fall of 2008 before we get to see the aftermath as that would be way too long of a wait.... I guess time will tell.
Although we didn't see all of the characters (where is our gay couple?), it was great to see some story lines closed, and it left a hell of cliffhanger.... personally I am worried about Ida's cat and was pretty pissed at Lynette for putting it outside.... but happy to see that Mrs. McCluskey survived with Lynette even if her house didn't.... now we all want to know if Lynette's family is alive in all that rubble. Lynette -- note to self -- yes we know you are uber mom, but for some people their pet is like a child and respect that, and if your husband is so deathly asthmatic he should have something to treat it with....
The Gaby/Carlos/Edie/Victor storyline was great.... loved the cat fight (more! more!), our girls bonding during the disaster, the big fight scene and Victor getting impaled by the picket fence... all good story stuff and eager to see how it plays out. Guess Carlos and Gaby are out 10 Million?
Susan played tough and although it was a bit of an improvement over the past couple of weeks I am still not happy with her storyline and I guess Mike is off to rehab.... do they need to keep him continually in the hospital? There has to be something better they can do with these two.
The storyline with Katherine, Adam and Sylvia the stalker played out well (although Sylvia being sucked up by the tornado was cheesy and kind of predictable) and I loved the bonding between Bree and Katherine. Having these 2 Martha Stewarts on steroids working together could be an extremely dangerous thing and god help the neighbourhood. Me thinks Adam is still in deep doo-doo as it appears Sylvia was closer to Adam than previously thought and that should make for some interesting blow ups with Katherine. Hell hath no fury.....

Amazing Race - Burning Bridges

Karma rules supreme again on this edition of the Race. Last week, after playing the U Turn on another team, our blondes were in complete meltdown mode, Jennifer was not happy with how they played and Shana couldn't give a crap. Of course you know this means there was lots of energy wasted on bickering and bitching, so I wasn't too surprised when they were the last to arrive and Philiminated this week.
Team Goth is still my favorite team, and I loved seeing how thrilled our Goths were about going to Eastern Europe. It's not Transylvania, but they found kindred spirits and played a good round, coming in second. Their reaction to the very pagan looking festival in Lithuania was the best out of all the racers, with Kynt saying, "Vyxsin and I love to play dress-up and were surrounded by kindred souls. It made us feel normal." I hope they get to win atl east one round.
As for the other teams.... Christina and Dad are still so frustrating to watch, no matter how hard I see them try I just want to smack dear old Dad, Nick and Gramps try hard but almost got eliminated and lost a huge lead, TK and Rachel played a good round and deserved winning, Azaria & Hendekea went from first to the bottom gang, and let's get to Nate and Jen.
I have to say that they are way up there with teams to hate, the chemistry between the 2 of them and their love/hate relationship is just so damn ugly on TV. Calling your partner a bitch and acting like an ass isn't going to get them far, and I really hope they are the next to go.

Stargate Atlantis - Miller's Crossing

I can't say that I have been loving this season of SG Atlantis. The story lines seem to be off this season, and I am not sure if it is because the character of Dr.Weir is no longer there, or just the way the episodes are being more character driven than big picture... the worst part is that there is a new commanding officer Col. Samantha Carter who is rarely around... why have the big name come over from SG1 and then not use the character?

Anyways this episode was all about McKay's sister being kidnapped and forced to help scientist's daughter dying of cancer and some nanobot stuff. I was not too impressed with the story... the only thing that I liked was the change of venue to Vancouver (where the show is filmed) and seeing the cast in regular clothes was a change... although I prefer when they are on Atlantis or on some world far far away. It was kind of risque for them to have Rodney tasered with all the bad press recently don't you think? I think even Sheppard was bored in this episode as you can see him reading a newspaper and as much as I love our resident Canadian character I didn't think it was that great of an episode (except when his sister called him Nancy Drew) and it left me as unfulfilled as I have most of this season.... something is off with the writing or maybe I miss the chemistry with Weir and the gang... at least according to the preview she is supposed to pop up next week...
